Joel Osman To Speak on Legal Ethics at LACBA Immigration Law Section Meeting
Parker Mills senior counsel Joel Osman will be part of a panel speaking on legal ethics at a program co-sponsored by the LACBA Immigration Law Section and the Southern California Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. The presentation, “You Can’t Go Wrong! Ethics+Competence+Elimination of Bias,” takes place Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the LACBA office. Other panel members are:

The ethics panel will review matters involving the Rules of Professional Conduct and the EOIR’s Professional Conduct Rules often encountered by immigration attorneys. The panel will also discuss the ethical issues that arise in daily legal practice and receive an update on proposed changes to Rule 1.15 of the Rules of Professional Conduct (handling of client funds).
