Edward D. Baker

Edward Baker is an associate at Parker Mills LLP and has experience litigating complex civil matters in state and federal courts in a variety of practice areas, including business and commercial litigation, franchise law, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, construction litigation, mass tort, and chapter 11 bankruptcy.  Edward also has extensive appellate experience in the California Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit. 

Mr. Baker began his career litigating business and real estate disputes in the oil and gas industry, where he represented gasoline retailers in cases against big oil companies. Prior to joining Parker Mills LLP, he spent several years at a top Downtown Los Angeles law firm, where he handled a wide variety of high exposure cases.

Edward externed for the Honorable Judge Barry Russell in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, and interned with the United States Department of Justice in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri, and the U.S. Trustee Program for Region 16 in the Central District of California. 

Prior to attending law school, Edward received his Master’s from New York University and worked in the music industry.  Edward was also an NCAA dual athlete on the men’s soccer and golf teams.
